WELLINGTON: New Zealand will face West Indies in the 4th quarter final on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.

Earlier, Pakistan’s World Cup campaign came to an end after losing to Australia by six wickets in the third quarter final at the Adelaide Oval on Friday.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Pakistan were all out for 213 run in 49.5 overs. Haris Sohail remained top scorer with 41 runs followed by 34 from Misbah-ul-Haq and 29 from Sohaib Maqsood.

Australian JR Hazelwood picked four wickets while Starc claimed two wickets.

In reply, Australia achieved the Target in 33.5 overs losing four wickets. Wahab Riaz picked two wickets.

The might Australians will now take on India in the second semi final of the Cricket World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground on March 26.
