In the first matches, New Zealand will face Scotland at Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 03:00 pm PST and later India and Afghanistan will meet at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 07:00 pm PST.

In the Points Table of Group 2, Pakistan are placed atop with 8 points followed by Afghanistan which have 4 points.

New Zealand and Namibia also possess 2 points each; however, India and Scotland have yet to seal their first victories to gain any points.

Last night, Pakistan defeated Namibia by 45 runs at Abu Dhabi, and became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2021.

While batting first, Pakistan’s inform openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam built a 113-run partnership and helped the side to put a gigantic total of 189 runs on the board in 20 overs.

Mohammad Rizwan scored unbeaten 79 runs of 50 balls while Babar Azam scored 70 runs before he was caught at deep midwicket off David Wiese’s ball.

The middle-order batsman Mohammad Hafeez also smashed quick-fire 32 runs off just 16 balls and remained not out.

In reply, Namibia managed to score 144 for 5 in stipulated overs, falling short of 45 runs. David Wiese and Craig Williams remained the highest scorers for Namibia with 43 and 40 runs respectively.

For Pakistan, Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan picked up 1 wicket each.

First the time in nine years, Pakistan have reached the semi-finals stage of any ICC World Cup.
