ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC), Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada Tuesday said Pakistan Super League (PSL) had boost sport activities in the country that were previously affected by terrorism.
Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House here, he hoped that next time such cricket tournament would take place in Pakistan and participation of players from small provinces would significantly improve.
The minister said he was supporting Quetta Gladiators team in PSL as it had given tremendous performance throughout the PSL event.
The PSL event had provide a good source of entertainment to the nation.
To a question, he said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was carrying a campaign against corruption like war against terrorism in the country.
There was a need to remove weaknesses in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to achieve good results against corruption and PML-N leadership had pointed out faults in this regard, he added.
He said NAB chief had admitted faults in the institution and expressed resolved to overcome it. The business community and investors of the country should not be defamed without any evidence of corruption against them.
