The Story was posted prior to the beginning of first qualifying final
The first two teams in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 Points Table Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will meet each other in the first qualifying final at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday night.
The winner of today’s match will reach the final of HBL PSL 2017 to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 5 whereas the losing Side will play the winner of second qualifying final on March 3 in Dubai.
As the PSL playoffs round begins today, except the first qualifying final, the second and third qualifying finals will lead the losing Side to exit the tournament.
Peshawar Zalmi topped the PSL Points Table followed by Quetta Gladiators at second position. Both the teams had nine points each but as per net run rate, Peshawar was ranked above.
The second qualifying final will be played in Sharjah on March 1 between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United, the third and fourth position holders at the PSL Points Table respectively.
Lahore Qalandars has already been knocked out of the PSL 2017.

In the first round of PSL 2017, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators by 2 wickets in Dubai on February 25. The first T20 between the two teams was called off due to rain.
