MULTAN, Pakistan: Legendary Cricketer Wasim Akram has said that Pakistan should not bother if India does not want to play with it as no one is compelling the neighboring Country in this regard.

Talking to the media after attending a seminar at Nishtar Medical University in Multan on Tuesday, he said that international cricket is returning to Pakistan which is a good omen.

Wasim Akram said that Pakistan recently won good series, and “We should support our young guns”.

Talking about Pakistan Super League (PSL) scheduled next year, Wasim said that he is very much excited about Multan Sultan and has high hope for its victory in the tournament.

Praising Multan Sultan Captain Shoaib Malik, the former left-arm fast bowler said that he has attached good hopes with him as the team would consist of South Punjab young players.

Rest of five teams would also fight till last ball of the match, Wasim said with confidence and added that Ahmad Shehzad is a match winning player and he should not be criticized.

To a question regarding the recently imposed ban by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Muhammad Hafeez after his bowling action was found illegal, the legendary player said that an all-rounder has two weapons, adding that Muhammad Hafeez should now pay full attention towards his batting if he cannot bowl in international cricket now.
