Dean Jones - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has voiced shock over the passing of the former Australian batsman, and offered heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Dean Jones died of a massive heart attack in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 59. “PCB is devastated with the news of Dean Jones’ passing. On behalf of Pakistan cricket, the PCB offers its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire cricket community,” the PCB said in a Twitter message. The former Australian right-hand batsman played 52 Test matches for his Country from 1984 to 1992, and scored 3,631 runs with an average of 46.55. Dean Jones also featured in 164 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and scored 6,068 runs which included 7 Centuries and 46 Fifties.

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has voiced shock over the passing of the former Australian batsman and the Head Coach of Karachi Kings, and offered heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Dean Jones died of a massive heart attack in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 59.

“PCB is devastated with the news of Dean Jones’ passing. On behalf of Pakistan cricket, the PCB offers its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire cricket community,” the PCB said in a Twitter message.

The former Australian right-hand batsman played 52 Test matches for his Country from 1984 to 1992, and scored 3,631 runs with an average of 46.55.

Dean Jones also featured in 164 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and scored 6,068 runs which included 7 Centuries and 46 Fifties.

Currently, he was in India as a Commentator for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 now underway in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
