James Anderson has turned out to be just the seventh British bowler and the first in 38 years from his nation to break the 900-point check in the MRF Tires ICC Test Player Rankings after an astounding spell of bowling in the second Test against India at Lord’s, which his side won by an innings and 159 races to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

James Anderson, who plays for Lancashire and England, broadly viewed as one of the greatest fast bowlers of his generation. Anderson retains the record of having taken most wickets for England in both ODIs and Test matches. He is the sole English bowler, and the 6th overall, to take 500 test wickets.

Anderson played his first-class match for Lancashire, and since 2002-2003 he has been representing his Country in international arena. He has represented Britain in over 100 Test matches and almost 200 One Day Internationals (ODIs). He is England’s highest international wicket-taker, being the Country’s leading wicket taker in Tests and ODIs.
