KARACHI, Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Hisense have joined hands as associate sponsors for the upcoming Pakistan and Australia series which is scheduled to be played in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai from March 22-31, 2019.

Hisense already has a prominent global presence on the field of football; with the latest being the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, where Hisense was the official sponsor. And to further excel in the sports industry, Hisense for the very first time is collaborating with Cricket – being one of the most popular and loved sports in Pakistan.

While ddressing a press conference, the Chief Executive Officer, Hisense, Mr. Imran Ghani said, “Hisense has already made its impact in sports marketing, with strong presence in the world of football. We are overwhelmed to announce our first ever collaboration on the cricket field, and we are looking forward to a long standing partnership with PCB.”

Pakistan is a cricket loving nation and the consumers in Pakistan are more associated with cricket, we are excited to partner with PCB for Pakistan’s home series against Australia in UAE, which we are sure will provide competitive games throughout the 5-match ODI series.” he added.

Director International Cricket, PCB, Mr. Zakir Khan commenting at the occasion thanked Hisense for its alliance with PCB and said, “We are delighted to have you as our partners and we hope it will add more value to the interest Pakistan-Australia ODE series and we hope that you will continue your partnership on greater capacities in the near future.”

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
