SportsHBL PSL 2018: Foreign Players ready to travel to Pakistan

Last night Karachi Kings fixed their place in HBL PSL 2018 Play-Offs staring from Sunday (March 18) with the Qualifier between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Karachi Kings had once gripped fears about their pre-exit from the league but a seven-wicket against Islamabad United last night brushed aside all such worries.

With the emergence of possibility of Karachi Kings be playing in Pakistan for Semi-Final and even Final of the Pakistan Super League third edition, Karachi Kings have announced that foreign players including Joe Denly, Tymal Mills, Colin Ingram, Ravi Bopara, Lendl Simmons and David Wiese have expressed their willingness to travel to Lahore and Karachi if required.

Likewise the owner of Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi has also announced that all foreign players representing his Franchise in PSL 2018 would travel to Pakistan for PSL matches.

It is worth mentioning here last year as well, all foreign players of Peshawar Zalmi including the Captain Darren Sammy visited Pakistan and took part in the Final at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Peshawar Zalmi won that Final against Quetta Gladiators.

As per the schedule issued following the culmination of PSL 2018 first stage, Karachi Kings and Islamabad United will meet on Sunday in Dubai for the Qualifier, and whosoever win that match, will directly reach the Final scheduled on March 25 in Karachi.

While the loser of Sunday’s T20 will face the winner of Tuesday’s match to be held between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. The winner of that match will play in the Final.
