HOUSTON: Sachin’s Blasters will look to bounce back against Warne’s Warriors when two teams will face off in the second exhibition match of the three-match T20 series at Minute Maid Park in Houston on November 11.

The exciting game will be brought to viewers live by Sky Sports 2 at 02:00 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and at 07:00 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) (Thursday morning).

Warne’s Warriors leads the series 1-0 against Sachin’s Blasters as in the first T20, Shane Warne’s side beat Sachin Tendulkar’s team by 6 wickets.

The first T20 played at New York’s Citi Field on November 7 brought a large number of people belongings to various nationalities to the stadium. People were holding flags of their respective countries and carrying posters depicting images of star crickets especially Sachin Tendulkar.

In the first T20, world again witnessed the brilliance of Virender Sehwag, Shane Warne, Kumar Sangakkara, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar and Ricky Ponting as these retired legendary cricketers proved that they are still as much threatening and superb players as they were in their era.

While bating first Sachin’s Blasters managed to score 140 runs in stipulated 20 overs with Virender Sehwag’s 55 runs of 22 balls with 6 sixes. The Captain Sachin Tendulkar scored 26 runs.

For Warne’s Warriors, the Captain Shane Warne and Andrew Symonds grabbed 3 wickets each. Wasim Akram remained wicket-less but he gave only 16 runs in his 4 overs.

In reply to Sachin’s Blasters’ 140 runs, Warne’s Warriors achieved the target in 17.2 overs. Ricky Ponting and Kumar Sangakkara remained the top scorer with 48 and 41 runs respectively.

Shoaib Akhtar’s aggression and pace again terrified the Warriors as the world fastest bowler used to do so in his career. He took 2 wickets for 26 runs. Matthew Hayden and Kumar Sangakkara became his victims.

The last and third T20 match between the sides consisting of legends of the game but retired now will be played at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on November 14.
