In the Final of Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, the Indian fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj picked up six wickets by conceding just 21 runs in his seven overs, leading his side to seal the title for the eighth times.

In total Mohammed Siraj took 10 wickets in the Asia Cup 2023 with an average of 12.20, the second top wicket taker in the event after Sri Lanka’s Matheesha Pathirana who grabbed a total of 11 wickets.Best Bowling Figures in ODIs

Siraj’s six-wicket haul in the Final included four wickets taken by him in his second over.

In the match, the entire Sri Lankan team was bowled out for just 50 runs in 15.2 overs. Apart from Siraj, Hardik Pandya also took three wickets while Jasprit Bumrah secured one wicket.

India chased the target in 6.1 overs with 10 wickets in hand. Their openers and Ishan Kishan Shubman Gill scored unbeaten 23 and 27 runs respectively.
