ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The launching ceremony of the book titled “Shaking Hands with Clenched Fists” authored by Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja will be held at Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Friday.
The book launch ceremony will be organized by the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS).
The book has been published by National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.
The ceremony will begin with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the opening remarks by the Executive Director CISS Ambassador Ali Sarwar Naqvi.
The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat will deliver the keynote speech at the launch ceremony.
The former Foreign Minister and the Foreign Secretary Ambassador (retd) Inam-ul-Haque and the former Ambassador and the Special Representative to Iraq Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja will give the book reviews.
The Assistant Professor NDU by Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja, who is the author of the book titled “Shaking Hands with Clenched Fists”, will make the concluding remarks before the event ends with signing of the book.
