ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad administration has initiated a drive to remove wall chalking and posters from the Federal Capital.
In a twitter message on Monday, the Deputy Commission Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat said that wall chalking is illegal and a criminal offence to be tried under Section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Therefore, the DC Islamabad added, that a drive has been launched to clean the Federal Capital of wall chalking.

It is worth mentioning here that anti-encroachment drive, cleanliness drive and other pro-social activities have already been continuing in Islamabad by the administration.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad Police has also caught more than 7000 beggars so far in 2018 to keep the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) clear of the social evil.

Separately, an operation against drugs peddlers is also continuing in the ICT. The police has so far arrested a number of criminal elements and seized weapons, drugs and other contraband items from their possession.
