KARACHI: Dawlance, the number 1 home appliances brand of Pakistan, held a ceremony awarding seven winners of its recently organized online competition in Karachi on Monday.

The contest was organized by Dawlance in a bid to honor its digital followers who visited their recently re-launched corporate website. Visitors had to fill out a short survey on the website to enter themselves in a lucky draw with the winners being presented with the brand’s latest DW-296 Cooking Series microwave oven.

The evening provided an opportunity to Dawlance’s management and staff to interact with their consumers and showcase how as a company it values its digital followers.

Hasan Azim, Senior Vice President of Communications at Dawlance, said, “The digital revolution has hit the Pakistani market and Dawlance being the leading home appliance brand of the country has taken the initiative to reward its digital followers. Besides revamping its corporate website, Dawlance has also recently launched its Facebook fan page where the brand directly interacts with the consumers with multiple forms of engaging content including sharing home care tips.”

One of the highlights of the event was a live cooking demo conducted by a microwave oven cooking expert, who used Dawlance Baking series microwave oven to prepare a delicious pizza for the guests.

Dawlance will be organizing similar events to engage their loyal customers in eight more cities across Pakistan from 22nd to 30th April 2014.
