Sheikh Aftab vows completing development schemes on time


ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad on Tuesday said that the ongoing development schemes would be completed in stipulated time as provision of basic facilities are basic right of people.

He said while chairing a high level meeting of steering committee on PM Sustainable Development Programme at Cabinet Block Islamabad, he said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is the name of a mission and which is to make the country developed and prosperous.

He said government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is working for the betterment of people and all promises would be fulfilled as per manifesto of the party.

Sheikh Aftab Ahmad urged the officials to complete development schemes on time and provide facilities to common people as soon as possible according to the agenda of the PML-N government.

Earlier, committee was briefed about the different development schemes which are going to complete in near future and the committee also discussed the funds allocated for different projects.

The Committee appreciated the role of different Organizations including Discos, Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority.

The committee also appreciated the role of Cabinet Secretary.
