KARACHI: A senior lawyer and his two teenage sons were killed in an early morning attack in Karachi as violence claimed four other lives elsewhere in the city.

Advocate Kausar Saqlain Abbas left home in his car to drop his two sons at a school near Tower when armed attackers ambushed his vehicle on Maripur Road at around 8:30.

The attackers fired multiple shots on the vehicle and managed to flee, killing the two kids – 14-year-old Muhammad Aon Abbas and 12-year-old Muhammad Owais Abbas – on the spot while Abbas was critically injured.
