ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday sought details of the expenses incurred on bringing back former chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) Tauqir Sadiq from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A two-member bench comprising Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain resumed hearing of the OGRA implementation case on Wednesday.

   

During the hearing, the court directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor General to inform the court as to who helped Tauqir Sadiq to flee Pakistan when his name was on the ECL.

The court directed the concerned authorities to present before it the expenditures incurred on the return of Tauqeer Sadiq from UAE.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until July 24.
