Peshawar High Court moved against CM Khattak

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has been asked to stop the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and the Speaker Provincial Assembly Asad Qaiser from functioning in their offices for violating the constitution.

In a petition filed on Saturday in the PHC by the Peshawar High Court Bar Association Secretary General Ayaz Khan, it was argued that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is using official resources for staging sit-in in Islamabad.

It was further stated that impartiality of the speaker was also affected by his participation in the sit-in.
