ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Netherlands on Friday stressed the need for further strengthening bilateral political, trade and economic relations.
In a meeting held in Islamabad between the adviser to the prime minister on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz and the minister for foreign trade and development of Netherlands Ms. Lilianne Ploumen, the two sides discussed bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the two sides also emphasized further strengthening of institutional linkages between business communities of the two countries.
The adviser briefed the minister on priorities of the government to revive economy, overcome energy shortage and promote good governance. He highlighted investor friendly policies of the government and invited Dutch investments in Pakistan.
