KARACHI: An officer of Pakistan Navy was shot dead near National Stadium in Karachi on Wednesday as violence continued in the city despite government efforts to curb the ongoing incidents of targeted-killings.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on the vehicle of Navy officer Captain Nadeem as he was driving his car with his wife toward PNS Johar from his house located near Kaala Pul.
Captain Nadeem was killed while his wife sustained injuries in the firing incident on Rahmatullah road near National Stadium in Karachi.
