ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain said on Thursday that the nation and its armed forces have stood together and made invaluable sacrifices despite all challenges.

In his address at the convocation of the National Defense University in Islamabad on Thursday, the president said that war against terrorism will continue till elimination of terrorists.

The president said that people of Pakistan are very courageous and valiant and will overcome all challenges by adopting a united national agenda.

Mamnoon Hussain said that the government is giving priority to ensure internal security and revive economy. He said that energy crisis will be resolved during the tenure of the incumbent government.

Hussain said that people want Pakistan to be a peaceful and prosperous country. He said that all segments of society will have to play their role to make the country corruption-free.
