Judges’ detention case: Musharraf summoned in next hearing

ISLAMABAD: An-terrorism court in Islamabad on Friday granted exemption to former President Pervez Musharraf from appearance before it for today’s hearing in judges’ detention case.

During the hearing, the counsel of Musharraf presented his medical report and said he could not appear in court due to security reasons. The court accepted Musharraf’s application requesting exemption from today’s hearing.

Moreover, the court directed Musharraf’s guarantors to ensure the former president’s production in its next hearing.

Later, the hearing of the case was adjourned till April 25.
