PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday urged the Taliban not to attack polio workers and let the government run a vaccination campaign to save children from lifelong disabilities.
Talking to media representatives on Wednesday, the PTI chairman said that people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would not be allowed to travel abroad if the deadly virus was not contained in the country.
The PTI chairman said that with the right measures polio would be eradicated within three months and the future of children would be at risk if they were not administered polio drops.
Imran Khan called upon people to wage a struggle to eliminate the virus from the country for the sake of their children’s future.
Earlier, Imran Khan kicked off anti-polio drive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and administered polio drops to a child at Akora Khattak.
