No confusion in ranks of govt about dealing with terrorism: PM Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that there is no confusion in ranks of the government about dealing with terrorism.

In his address on the floor of the National Assembly in Islamabad on Wednesday, the prime minister that he would like to seek suggestions from the parliamentary leaders on the matter.

The prime minister assured that all the parliamentary leaders will be invited for a meeting to discuss the way forward and options to deal with the issue of terrorism.

Sharif said that the government dialogue committee kept media informed about the dialogue process.

Useful recommendations to be included in national security policy: Nawaz

Talking about the national security policy‚ the prime minister said that this is not a final document and useful recommendations from the opposition and government benches could be incorporated in it.

The premier said that this is not the policy of any political party but of the state and everybody should contribute to further improve it.

Khurshid Shah urges opposition parties to stand by govt

Earlier‚ leader of the opposition in the house Syed Khurshid Shah said that the opposition parties should stand by the government for the security of the country.

The opposition leader said that they will not take any step which is contrary to democratic norms and can adversely affect the integrity of the country.
