COAS summons key Corps Commanders meeting on Monday: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has summoned an important meeting of the Corps Commanders at the army’s General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

The sources said that important matters related to internal security and military operational matters would come under consideration during the meeting.

In addition, they said that the COAS would take the commanders into confidence over feedback received from the political leadership during the national security conference held at the prime minister’s house in Islamabad on Saturday.
