KARACHI: Rangers and police have arrested 32 more accused during ongoing-targeted operation including target killers and money extortionists in different parts of metropolis on Sunday.

The law enforcement agencies are active in Karachi while rangers and police are searching for professional criminals in the city.

Rangers raided many areas including Sindhi Hotel, Mehmoodabad, Baloch Colony, Cattle Colony, Gulshan-e-Mayamar, Hassan Mujtaba Town, Korangi 100 Quarters, Johar Mor, Surjani Town, and Yousaf Goth and managed to arrest 14 accused from those areas.

Spokesman of the rangers have claimed that many target killers and money extortionists are also included in arrested culprits and they belong to different political parties. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also seized from their custody, he added.

Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police have also captured 14 more suspects during raids in different areas of city on Sunday. Many held suspects belong to banned outfits and they remained active against NATO troops in Afghanistan, said the police.

At the other side, an intelligence agency raided on office of a political party in Block-7 of Federal B Area and arrested four political workers from there.

Held political activists were identified as Saqib, Wasim, Iqbal, and Babar alias Don. Those all have been shifted to unknown place for interrogation.
