CUENCA, Ecuador: For the first time in history, a rally was organized in Ecuador to express solidarity with Kashmiris and strongly denounce the atrocities perpetrated by the Indian forces against innocent and unarmed people in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The rally was organized in Cuenca, the Capital of Ecuador’s Azuay Province.

A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the rally to voice their solidarity with oppressed Kashmiris and urge the International Community to play its due role to resolve the lingering issue of Kashmir.

The participants of the rally were holding Pakistani and Kashmir flags. They were also holding placards inscribed with slogans in Urdu, English and Spanish to express solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The placards read; “Solidarity with Kashmiri women and children”, “Kashmiris deserve world attention”, and “Stop genocide in Kashmir.”

The Indian forces have killed 95,686 innocent civilians in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir from January 1989 till September 30, 2020 as per the Kashmir Media Service.
