ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Central Information Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Omar Sarfaraz Cheema has said that his party salutes all martyrs of Kashmir including Burhan Wani who had laid down supreme sacrifices of their lives for the freedom of their motherland from oppressed Indian occupation.

While paying tribute to young Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani on Monday, Omar Sarfaraz Cheema said that Kashmiris are fighting Indian oppression from last seven decades.

The PTI leader added that the so-called biggest democracy has turned the valley into a living hell for the people. He said that Indian occupied forces are committing grave crimes against humanity in the occupied valley.

“The blood of thousands of martyrs including Burhan Muzaffar Wani is an affirmation of the fact that Kashmiris are not ready to relinquish their right of self-determination,” he said.

Omar Sarfaraz Cheema expressed disappointment over the role of international community in fulfilling the promises made with the people of Kashmir in the form of resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

In concluding remarks, he reiterated the PTI government’s resolve to continue its unwavering support to the Kashmiri brethren in their quest for independence.
