ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of former Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa General (retd) Iftikhar Hussain Shah. 

In a joint condolence statement on Monday, the PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Khan Nyazee, the Secretary General Aamir Mahmood Kiyani, the Senior Vice President Arshad Dad, the Central Information Secretary Ahmed Jawad and other Party’s Central Leadership expressed deep grief and sorrow over his death and paid tribute to his services for the Country and PTI.

The PTI leadership said that the news of Iftikhar Hussain Shah’s death was really shocking. They said that he was a Pakistani soldier and a loyal worker of Imran Khan.

They said that Iftikhar Hussain was the leader of the PTI, who spread Imran Khan’s message across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province; hence his selfless services to the PTI would always be remembered.

The leadership prayed for the elevated rank of General (retd) Iftikhar Hussain Shah and expressed sympathy and condolence to his family and prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
