LAHORE, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday reached Lahore wherein he held a one-on-one meeting with the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
During the meeting, matters related to initiatives in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19) and locust as well as political development in the Punjab province were discussed.
They also discussed the budget details, and reiterated the resolve to give maximum relief to the people.
Earlier a meeting between Usman Buzdar and the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi took place to dwell at length on matters of national and political importance.
They also exchanged views regarding the progress on the establishment of the South Punjab Secretariat.
In his remarks, Qureshi said that the establishment of the South Punjab Secretariat will bring relief to the local people.
The minister said that the establishment of the Secretariat will solve the problems of the people at the grassroots level.
