PoliticsOpposition desperate after failure in getting NRO: PTI

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Omar Sarfaraz Cheema has slammed opposition parties, saying that failure in getting an NRO and concessions in the accountability has provoked an anguish among desperate opposition leaders who seek intimidation of the federal government instead of allowing it uninterrupted functioning.

In a statement on Friday, Omer Sarfaraz Cheema said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has categorically placed on record that plunderers will get no mercy.

“Resolutions of public issues has never been their (opposition’s) agenda,” Omar Sarfaraz Cheema said adding that how these crooks who stashed nation’s wealth abroad crippling the Country’s economy could dare to talk about the protest.

“The nation has already rejected them in the general elections and will ignore their so-called call for the protest knowing the fact that the current economic impasse is a painful outcome of decades-long loot and plunder by the same parties,” he added.

Omar Sarfaraz Cheema said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is voted to power by the masses to hold these corrupt elements accountable.

“The nation has awaken politically and cannot be fooled and opposition must also understand the fact that to return the looted money is the only way out,” the PTI leader said.
