RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has strongly refuted claims by Maryam Nawaz regarding back-door contacts with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
Responding to the claims by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, the director general ISPR asked the opposition parties not to drag the Pakistan army into politics as it has nothing to do with Politics.
Major General Babar Iftikhar said that no back-door channel is being used for any political concerns and if anyone has concrete evidence of it, he must bring that forth.

The DG ISPR said that it’s unwarranted to hurl allegations against the Country’s prime security institution.
“No back-door contacts, those making claims must come forward with proofs, do not drag Pakistan army into politics,” Major General Babar Iftikhar warned.
The director general ISPR further said that our foremost task is to ensure peace and defend the motherland, and we are determined to it.
Talking about the rescue operation to find missing climbers, the DG ISPR said that Ali Sadpara is our asset and national hero, and we pray that he is safe.
The DG ISPR said that all efforts have been put in place to find the climbers. He said that the search operation will not be decelerated.
