Prior to his departure, doctors inspected his health in detail. He was given steroid supplements and medicines as protection from the dangers of travel.
In a statement, the PML-N Secretary Information Maryam Aurangzeb said that Nawaz Sharif will initially be shifted to the United Kingdom where doctors will analyze his condition and decide if he would be treated there or moved to another Country.
The former prime minister left the Country after the Interior Ministry issued a notification regarding the permission to him for one time travel abroad for medical treatment.
The notification stated that the permission has been granted to the former prime minister for a period of four weeks during his bail period in compliance with the order of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
