ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed has said that the nation has witnessed the level of Sharif brothers’ courage and gallantry, and added that Pervaiz Rasheed must not consume his energies in defending the something that is not defendable.
While responding to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Rasheed’s statement, Murad Saeed said that the attempts to paint a criminal as a political leader will come to naught, adding that it seems that Pervaiz Rasheed is oblivious to the fact that the nation is aware of Nawaz Sharif’s financial crimes.
Murad Saeed said that Nawaz Sharif himself, his children and advisors like Pervaiz Rasheed are to be blamed for the ordeals he is facing. He went on to add that the former prime minister’s corruption made headlines when he was in power and cases against him were initiated during the PML-N’s rule.
If logics given by Pervaiz Rasheed are to be believed, then Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister Punjab are to be blamed for Nawaz Sharif’s sentence, he added.
Coming down hard upon the PML-N leader, Murad Saeed said that the ‘hatcher of Dawn Leaks conspiracy’ apprise the nation about a single case that was filed by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The minister said that like other fields, the politics is also undergoing a transformation and purging process. The nation, he added, despises the practice of deceit and lies and yearn for politics of ideology, principle and morals.
