ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday decided to postpone the general elections, clearly indicating that polls will not take place within 90 days under the Constitution.

Issuing the notification of delimitation of constituencies afresh in accordance with official results of the 7th Population and Housing Census 2023, the ECP said that a decision had been made to conduct fresh delimitation of constituencies.

The ECP said that the final publication of delimitation on will be issued on December 14, 2023.
