ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday restored memberships of six more MPAs of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after receiving details of assets.

The ECP spokesman said that two MPAs of Punjab, two of Sindh, and one each of Balochistan and KP have submitted details of their assets to the commission today.

After receiving details of assets, these six MPAs’ memberships have been restored by the ECP, added the spokesman.

Amongst cleared MPAs are included Punjab MPAs Masood Shafqat, Ali Abbas, Sindh MPAs Muhammad Ali Bhutto and Miss Sania, Balochistan MPA Dr. Shama Baloch, and KP’s MPA Muhammad Arif.

One Senator, five MPAs of Sindh, and two MPAs of Punjab have yet not filed details of assets and their memberships are still suspended, told the ECP spokesman.
