ISLAMABAD: Thirty thousand Pakistan Army personnel have been put on alert at the request of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for today’s by-elections to ensure security of the people.
According to Election Commission‚ powers of first class Magistrate have been designated to the Army officers performing election duties.
