The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry on Monday officially shared information with the media that a Lieutenant General has been dismissed from the services while strict action has also been taken against 15 officers including three Major Generals and Seven Brigadiers following the May 9 incident. Though he did not share the name of the officers, one can easily guess that the terminated Lt General is former Corp Commander Lahore.

The Army did not stop here and the DG ISPR cited that a granddaughter of a Four Star General, a Son-in-law of a Four Star General, the wife of a Three Star General, and the wife of Four Star General and its Son-in-law are undergoing through the accountability process of Pakistan Army.

The information shared by Pakistan Army officially today shows the volume of engrossment of PTI among families of armed forces because, since 2011, PTI was projected as the only honest political party and Imran Khan as the savior of the nation among families of military men. I personally know that several families of military men used to grace theatrical performances of PTI Jalsa all over the country and many families used to hold Milad Sharif in their residences for praying the long life of Imran Khan. Whatever happened on May 9 was not a shocking incident for me who had been expressing for more than five years that Project Imran and Imran Cult would do something very serious against Pakistan and like any hybrid monster, the first victim would be the creator of the hybrid monster. Whatever had happened, it has happened and now we should move forward.
The most encouraging information is that Pakistan has written a history of self-accountability and now it is the duty of other stakeholders to do “Housing Cleaning” like politicians and the judiciary that is still standing with Imran Khan even after May 9 incident and its biasness is categorically shown whenever word Imran Khan comes in any case and then judiciary showers its blessing onto him.
I missed earlier press briefings of new DG ISPR Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry because mostly I had been traveling in Europe for my studies assignments and today’s press briefing was the first that I watched while in Copenhagen, I found him too clear-headed, straight forward and good media handler. His expression was strongly supporting his words when he was telling the media that the process of self-accountability in the Pakistan Army is completed without any discrimination and he reminded the media that the May 9 tragedy cannot be forgotten in the history of Pakistan nor its perpetrators, facilitators, and abettors can be pardoned. He said that those involved in this tragedy, irrespective of their affiliation with any institution, political party, or group will be punished according to the law and the constitution.
We know Pakistan Army is in unison in the decision-making and that the armed forces of Pakistan and military leadership are aware of the elements, facilitators, and plotters associated with the May 9 tragedy and also of their hidden agenda and it would not spare anybody (whosoever he or she is) who were directly or indirectly involved in attacking monuments of martyrs, military-related buildings and installations. The announcement of actions taken against responsible persons is the outcome of two departmental inquiries, headed by the Officers of Major General Rank, that were initiated to probe into the violent incidents that took place in different Garrisons on May 9.
The military has taken uncompromising actions against those who failed to protect the security and sanctity of General Headquarters (GHQ), different Garrisons, Jinnah House, and the military installations.
As he mentioned this all is the aftermath of deep fake information spread systematically by Imran Khan and his facilitators, they would have thought that defaming Pakistan and Pakistan’s Army just require one coup d’état of attacking Amy installations and slurring and abusing army personnel, but I can’t even say that they forgot the history as I am sure they have never read it at the first place. PTI followers are generation millennials and the prime flaw of this entire generation is lack of reading, their only source of information is social media, they are trapped in it and unable to think otherwise. However, the facilitators of this planning are much older than this generation, although they acted in shadows they must have known that targeting Pakistan Army could have been the wish of many outsiders and history has told us that they never get succeeded in that.
The 9th May incident was operated under the pretense of revolution, and the revolutionaries were naive youth detached from reality, ladies who reached the crime spots with their full makeup on. They took the term “revolution” from their cinematic exposure and considered it a game. The law enforcement agencies and riot police did not treat them as revolutionaries while they were fleeing the sights with strawberries, books, flowerpots, and even peacocks as trophies or as gifts given by their host of Jinnah House. The scene was so pitiful that one could not even purge them.
They were under the impression that a revolution is a voluntary act of power transfer, they will go out, chant some slogans burn a few buildings, and revolution get the results. If they have studied revolution they must have known now that if they would have been considering revolutionaries they would have been shot at the spot, because they were out asking for it, on the contrary law just imprisoned them where all the revolutionaries are now demanding seven-star treatment.
Who wants to get killed with full makeup on having a selfie with strawberries and peacocks?
This entire farcical episode made one thing clear the planners of the 9th May and the so-called foot soldiers were not psychologically aligned. The planners and the key players wanted them to provoke the Army and got killed but the revolutionaries, having full make-up on and in social media mode were there to have one more heroic footage. The “abuser ladies” (as I call them) were hundred percent sure that they will go home in the evening after looting the Jinnah House and ramming the gate of GHQ and would continue with their evening activities but Imran Khan and his handlers wanted bloodshed. Who wants to get killed with full makeup on having a selfie with strawberries and peacocks?

Now the PTI fake speech department spreading human rights mantras but the world is not as delusional as PTI followers are so no one is paying any heed to them as the matter is directly linked with Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The guarantor of Pakistan’s sovereignty and border security has made it clear today that the 9th May will not be forgiven, and accountability had done within the department, all the handlers, facilitators, and mastermind will receive the befitting reply for their fictional revolution against the state.
The blood and divide they fancy on the 9th of May were stopped promptly and now it’s time to pull all these anti-state agents from shadow into broad daylight.
I am glad that about two years ago I wrote “admit, repent and move on” and today I have seen the repentance, and looking forward to seeing the moving on phase.
One more point I wish to add here though it is not directly linked to today’s press briefing. Since I had an opportunity of being a part of the academia cadre in the past, I know such House Cleaning is also needed in several universities of Pakistan where staff irrespective of gender divide was indoctrinated to “Fight for Imran Khan”. It is never too late to take action before the damage is done.
