GLASGOW: A police helicopter crashed into the roof of a pub on the banks of the River Clyde in the Scottish city of Glasgow and caused numerous casualties.

The incident occurred on Friday night when the Police Scotland helicopter, Eurocopter EC135 T2, with two police officers and a civilian pilot on board came down on the roof of the single-storey Clutha Vault pub situated in Stockwell Street in Glasgow.

The reports said that a live music event was being held and about 120 people were in the pub at the time of the crash.

The injured people were taken to hospitals across Glasgow while firefighters were called to extinguish the fire at the site of crash.
