Government of PakistanPM Imran Khan assures to fulfill Hazara Community’s demands

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan assured the Hazara Community that he would soon reach out to them as they are grieved over the terrorist attack in Mach area of Balochistan’s Bolan district, causing irreparable loss to them.

Last Sunday, 11 coal miners belonging to the Shia Hazara Community were kidnapped and later slaughtered by terrorists in the Mach coalfield area.

The prime minister said that I share your pain and have come to you before also to stand with you in your time of suffering.

“I will come again very soon to offer prayers and condole with all the families personally,” the prime minister said in a Twitter message on Wednesday.

The prime minister also reassured the Hazara families who lost their loved ones in the brutal terrorist attack in Mach that he is cognisant of their suffering and their demands.

“We are taking steps to prevent such attacks in the future & know our neighbour is instigating this sectarian terrorism,” he said.

Requesting the Hazara Community members to bury the slain coal miners, the prime minister said “I will never betray my people’s trust. Please bury your loved ones so their souls find peace”.

The militant group Islamic State group, also called Daesh, claimed responsibility for killing the coal miners.

Following the attack, the members of the Hazara Community along with families of the victims placed the dead bodies at Quetta-Sukkur Highway and staged a sit-in.

They refused to bury the slain coal miners until Prime Minister Imran Khan meets them and the killers are brought to justice.
