Palestinian death toll rises to nearly 600 in Israeli aggression in Gaza

GAZA CITY: The total Palestinian death toll has risen to 583 in Israeli aggression as seven more persons were killed in the latest air strikes in the Gaza strip.

More than 3,500 others have also been injured in the Israeli raids which began in the Gaza strip on July 8.

The Israeli warplanes have been hitting numerous targets in the strip over the past 15 days, demolishing homes and burying families in the rubble. On July 17, Israeli tanks also began a ground offensive against the impoverished Palestinian land.

On the other hand, around 30 Israelis have so far been killed by the Palestinian resistance fighters in their retaliatory operations.

Meanwhile, the UN agency assistance for Palestinian has issued an emergency appeal for $60 million to meet humanitarian needs in Gaza for the displaced persons in wake of the deadly Israeli military offensive.
