ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country’s textile exports decreased by 20 percent to US$ 1.31 billion in May 2023 as compared to US$ 1.64 billion in the corresponding period of last year, according to the statistics released by the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA).

Whereas the textile exports registered a 15 percent decrease in the first 11 months of the Fiscal Year 2022-23 as compared to the same period last year.

From July to May 2022-23, the Country’s textile exports stood at US$ 15.02 billion whereas exports were recorded at US$ 17.61 during the same period last fiscal year.Pakistan’s textile exports decreased by 15% in FY 2022-23
