KARACHI, Pakistan: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country stood at US$ 9.27 billion as of February 24, 2023, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The SBP stated that the foreign exchange reserves improved by US$ 541.4 million to US$ 9,267.9 million during the week ended on February 14, 2023.

It said that the net foreign reserves held by the Central Bank witnessed an uptick of US$ 555.6 million to US$ 3,814.1 million.

However, the reserves held by the Commercial Banks shrunk by US$ 14.2 million to US$ 5,468.0 million.

The State Bank said that with US$ 3,814.1 million and US$ 5,468.0 million held by it and Commercial Banks respectively, the Country’s total liquid foreign reserves have surged to US$ 9,267.9 million.
