  • Commercial Banks reserves: $5.2 billion, up by $114.1 million

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves surged by US$ 131.3 million to stand at US$ 13.1 billion as of March 08, 2024.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of March 08, 2024 were US$ 13,151.3 million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s foreign reserves also rose to US$ 7.9 billion, registering an increase of US$ 17.2 million.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 7,912.9 million in the week ended on March 08 whereas previously they were US$ 7,895.7 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,238.4 million, showing an increase of US$ 114.1 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves rise to $13.1 billion
