Pehli Si Muhabbat – Overview
An overhyped couple of Shehryar Munawar and Maya Ali came on screen with their blockbuster drama serial- Pehli si Muhabbat. This drama is filled with intensified love and romance between Rakshi and Aslam. The writer, Faiza Iftikhar has written this storyline with dedication, and the director, Anjum Shehzad brought life to the words of the writer. This drama came on air on ARY Digital on 23 January 2021 and is also among the top 10 Pakistani dramas 2021. So, this story revolves around two childhood friends who turn into love birds when they grow up. But, their love is unaccepted by their families. Storyline
Aslam comes back home from Hyderabad and gets attracted to his childhood friend, Rakshi. Rakshi’s Father (Faizullah) marries a woman named Nargis which brings him hatred from his neighborhood. The whole neighborhood segregates Rakshi’s family and breaks off all ties. Aslam’s Brother (Akram) blows this fire of enmity. The whole neighborhood turns against Rakshi’s Father. They order Faizullah to leave the town.
On one hand, the love of Rakshi and Aslam grows to the point where they could not live without each other. On the other hand, the enmity between Aslam’s elder brother and Rakshi’s Father creates trouble in the relationship of the two.
Later on, the plot twists when Faizullah engages Rakshi with a new character, Sikandar. This new character brings the past in front of the audience that disclosed a love affair between Sikandar and Aslam’s sister. The story takes a revengeful turn and disturbs everyone’s lives. The heartbroken couple faces the torture of separation.
