Bakhtawar drama is one of the best Pakistani dramas with a unique script, written by Nadia Akhter. Shahid Shafat has directed it with Production credits to Momina Duraid. It comes on air on HUM TV every Sunday at 8:00 pm. This unique narrative is presented through the character of Bakhtawar, This character is played by the talented Yumna Zaidi. She is giving a mind-blowing performance to the audience. Alongside her, there is Zaviyar Noman, Huma Nawab, Sunil Shankar, and other brilliant actors.

Bakhtawar drama revolves around a girl named, Bakhtawar, who opts for a fake identity. She disguises herself as a boy to get past the complexities of life. Bakhtawar is a young girl who has only a mother in her family. Her brother died and she is left to be the breadwinner for her mother.

As soon as her brother dies, she is unable to survive this misogynist society without the company of a man. Neither she could get a home to only ladies nor she get a respected job. So, she had to compromise her female identity.

Bakhtawar cuts her hair and dresses up as a boy. She completely adopts the personality of a boy which makes life easier for her. She feels the difference between how society interacts with a  man and a woman. Bakhtu, the male version, can go anywhere without the male gaze stripping her from head to toe.

Bakhtu was quite comfortable in her disguised identity, but it could not last long. In a recent episode, Bakhtu’s real identity is revealed to the villain, Sheeda. He is antagonistic to Bakhtawar for letting him down. So, it is not far that her truth will come out.

Bakhtawar drama stands at a climatic point where Bakhtu’s future is uncertain. The upcoming episodes are getting more interesting. So, stay tuned to the drama to watch what happens in her life. Will she be able to remain living like a boy or will have to go back to being a girl?
