ASHGABAT: The Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan has had a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Baymyrat Hojamuhammedov in Ashgabat.

They discussed Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline projects.

   

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to implement the project and expressed satisfaction at the progress made so far in that direction.

Minister Jam Kamal Khan expressed Pakistan’s readiness to broaden the scope of its bilateral relations with Turkmenistan in various fields .

The Minister also attended the meeting of the Steering Committee of TAPI Gas Pipeline Project.

Speaking on the occasion Jamal Kamal Khan said Pakistan government is taking measures to overcome energy shortages by launching different projects‚ including Turkmenistan-Afghanistan- Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.
