Pakistan suffered 64 more COVID deaths, tally reaches 11,514

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 64 COVID patients lost their lives and 1,910 more infections were recorded across Pakistan in the last 24 hours.

Most of the deaths recorded on January 27 occurred in Sindh followed by Punjab.

   

The Sindh province suffered 32 deaths, Punjab 15, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 13, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) 3, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) 1.

To date, a total of 11,514 COVID deaths have been recorded across the Country including 4,661 in Punjab, 3,957 in Sindh, 1,870 in KPK, 472 in ICT, 259 in AJK, 193 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

As per the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) data, in total 40,821 people were tested for Coronavirus in the Country on January 27, and of them, 1,910 were found positive.

Since February 26 last year, a total of 539,387 Coronavirus Cases have surfaced across Pakistan so far.

Of them, 243,683 Cases have been registered in Sindh, 155,805 in Punjab, 66,198 in KPK, 41,076 in ICT, 18,788 in Balochistan, 8,931 in AJK, and 4,906 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The number of recovered patients from the disease in Pakistan has now reached 494,578.

As of January 28, the total Active COVID Cases in Pakistan are 33,295.
