ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan condemns in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack at a mosque in Afghanistan’s Herat province, resulting in loss of life and injuries.

On Monday night, a gunman stormed a mosque in Andisheh town of Guzara district in Herat province, and killed six people.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the people and government of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the people of Afghanistan.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families in this hour of grief,” the Spokesperson.

The Spokesperson said that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations including despicable attacks on places of worship.
