Foreign OfficePakistan strongly condemns Houthis attacks on Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent attacks launched by Houthis towards the Southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on Monday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that it is commendable that the coalition forces successfully intercepted the explosive-laden drones and destroyed them.

The Spokesperson said that these attacks threaten the lives of innocent people, besides violating the territorial integrity of the Kingdom. We call for an immediate cessation of such attacks.

“Pakistan reaffirms its full support and solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threats to its security and territorial integrity,” Chaudhri said.

On Saturday, the Saudi air defense destroyed 17 armed drones launched by Houthi rebels towards the Kingdom’s Southern region.

Meanwhile, the Arab Countries and Organizations also denounced the Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s Khamis Mushait and Najran using explosive-laden drones.
